The patented design allows the mattress to conform simultaneously to the individual and the bed frame, optimizing the features of an articulating bed. Shear is a primary contributing factor in the development of pressure ulcers.

The SRS2080W42 mattress is 42" wide and 80" long. The mattress features a patented design that allows it to conform simultaneously to individuals and the bed frame, optimizing the features of an articulating bed. A Castellation-cut foam redistributes pressure for user comfort.

More than 75% of individuals using a Glissando Mattress in the study had pressure ulcers heal within 8 weeks, demonstrating the effectiveness of the mattress in preventing and healing pressure ulcers.

The two-part construction with a patented "gliding" layer enables the top and bottom sections to move independently as the mattress is articulated. The built-in sidewall supports facilitate user ingress and egress, and the Castellation-cut foam redistributes pressure for user comfort.
